J.L.G. T-Style Paisley with Vega Trem
DESCRIPTION:
J.L.G. T-Style Paisley with Vega Trem This is our newest guitar which was just recently finished. This guitar have unique features like especially the paint job. Paisley figure is done using nitro paints and laquers, not tapestry or cloth or any kind of foil. Pain job is done using the Capri Orange base and on a top of that they is a layered Paisley figure painted through lace fabric which was them removed and started to use translucent layered nitro laquers. Pickquard done similar way but opposite using clear 1-ply guards. Finished with Glossy final coat on top buffed to perfection while keeping sides and back as matt finish. This guitar have unique kind Vega Trem Tremolo, rarely seen in Telecasters. Guitar is equipped with 0 glide fret for smooth tremolo operation and tuning stability. DESCRIPTION:
This baby is the newest Made in Finland build of our J.L.G. Governor series Bass. This bass is very easy to play due it’s short scale (30”’s) and medium sized body. Wood selection for this particular instrument follows the traditional combination, Alder for body and Maple for neck, Ovangkol fretboard gives unique sound harmonics. We selected the one of the best hardware combo on this, Babicz Full Contact Bridge together with string’s trough body and HipShot Very light weight Tuners. Bass is having little bit of aging on the finish, neck sides are smoothly rounded to support nice touch to hand. Sounds are coming from TV Jones Thunder’tron pickup offering vintage tones. Alternatively per customer request, we can switch the pickup to TV Jones more modern TV Jones Thunder’Blade rail version, offering bit more punch. This is THE first ever built J.L.G. Governor, serial number 001 with SRV sounds built on it. This new unique design was done the best playability, configurability, look and feel in mind. Combination of the selected woods and hand rubbed and buffed danish oil finish on neck, very thin Candy Apple Red nitro finish, filled with quality electronics and pickups, provides unforgettable sound and playability. 5-way wiring with treble bleed mod enables lots of sound variations. You'll get SRV type of sounds out from this guitar, as the pickups are done by the Mojotone / Rene Martinez, who was the guitar tech of SRV. This guitar ages nicely due the thin finish and does not impact sound. Neck provides extremely easy playability, due 12" rad and thin C profile. We placed the Duesenberger tremolo on this one together with TOM-style bridge. Tremolo works really smooth and as body is having 1 degree angle on neck socket, it provides enough brake angle to strings. Vintage type tuners and engraved neck plate finishes the guitar nicely. This is THE fourth ever built J.L.G. Governor, serial number 004 with 2-face sound sounds built on it. This new unique design was done the best playability, configurability, look and feel in mind. This one is also having contour on rear side. Combination of the selected woods and hand rubbed and buffed danish oil finish on neck, very thin Daphne Blue nitro finish, filled with quality electronics and pickups, provides unforgettable sound and playability. 5-way wiring with treble bleed mod enables lots of sound variations. You'll get unique type of sounds out from this guitar, as the pickups are done by the Mojotone as 2-face, for heavier string, p-90 type construction and thinner string Alnico type. This guitar ages nicely due the thin finish and does not impact sound. Neck provides extremely easy playability, due 12" rad and thin C profile. We placed the Bigsby B50 tremolo on this one together with TOM-style bridge. Tremolo works really smooth and as body is having 1 degree angle on neck socket, it provides enough brake angle to strings. Vintage type tuners and engraved neck plate finishes the guitar nicely. This is THE second ever built J.L.G. Governor, serial number 002 as a Deluxe model. This new unique design was done the best playability, configurability, look and feel in mind. Combination of the selected woods and very thin black aged nitro finish, filled with quality electronics and pickups, provides unforgettable sound and playability. 3-way wiring, kill switch, blend pot for middle pickup and treble bleed mod, enables lots of sound variations. You'll get vintage type of sounds out from this guitar, as the Premium historic pAF pickups as double cream are hand made by Mojotone and represents the unique sound from late 50's to early 60's eras. This guitar ages nicely due the thin finish and does not impact sound. Neck provides extremely easy playability, due 12" rad and thin C profile. We placed TOM-style bridge and stop tail to this model. 1 degree neck socket provides enough brake angle to the strings. Vintage type tuners and engraved neck plate finishes the guitar nicely.
